Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Off To Automotive Heaven

90% of the wagons still sold today offer some slightly lifted variant with body cladding and maybe a skid plate or two. Are they all that much more capable than a standard wagon? No, but looks and the idea that it can (possibly) go off-road go a long way. The silver lining is that we’re still getting the Panamera, even though it’s not a sales darling. In 2022, Porsche only sold 3,483 Panamera, less than the outgoing 718. These sales are much worse than the 911, which managed to move 10,204 in the same timeframe, and a far cry from sales of the Macan and Cayenne, both of which sold more than 20,000. We imagine this refresh will help to bring things back in line for the Panamera, but despite how loyal its fans are , things aren’t looking good. https://ift.tt/hYTSc2s Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Off To Automotive Heaven Auto Updates

Vinales takes pole as Bagnaia heads Martin for title showdown

The factory Aprilia rider put in the first ever 1m28s lap at Circuit Ricardo Tormo with a 1m28.931s to take his first pole since Assen in 2021, two days prior to announcing he was quitting Yamaha a year early. He led from factory Ducati rider Bagnaia, who dominated Q1 before finishing Q2 in second, while title rival Jorge Martin finished just sixth for Pramac. Pramac’s Johann Zarco will line up third in his final race with the Ducati satellite team before moving to LCR Honda next season. It hands Bagnaia the advantage heading into this afternoon’s sprint race, where he can clinch his second consecutive title if he outscores Martin by four points. Martin narrowly escaped disaster at the start of Q2 after Marc Marquez’s tear off nearly got caught in his airbox, with the Pramac rider quickly stopping the offending debris with his hand. Maskot | Maskot | Getty Images A recall on your vehicle can derail your travel plans, depending on the issue at hand.  It’s an issue plenty of drivers have to consider this fall. Subaru, Volkswagen, General Motors , Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Honda Motor are among the vehicle manufacturers that have issued recall notices with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in November — collectively affecting more than 2.3 million vehicles. Among those, Toyota recalled nearly 1.9 million RAV4s to fix a battery issue that could potentially cause a fire. Honda Motor issued a recall last week on nearly 250,000 Honda and Acura vehicles due to a manufacturing error that may cause engine damage . Luckily, “recalls are covered repairs by the automaker at no cost to the consumer,” said Tom McParland, contributing writer for automotive website Jalopnik and operator of vehicle-buying service Automatch Consulting. 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Drops “Rejuvenate” Feature

One of the cooler features on the fully redesigned 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is its Rejuvenate feature. Lincoln describes Rejuvenate as a “multisensory, in-cabin experience including lighting and digital scenting.” Unfortunately, one of the more innovative and high-end features on the Nautilus won’t be available at the time of launch. According to a letter that was sent to dealers, the 2024 Nautilus will not be available with Rejuvenate due to “feature readiness.” The letter claims that Lincoln will give shoppers who have a current order for a Nautilus a choice of a $200 credit or the opportunity to not follow through on their orders. “To ensure the highest quality experience for our Nautilus clients, we are taking additional time to ensure feature readiness and testing,” reads the letter. “Lincoln Rejuvenate will not be available to clients at launch and will be delivered retroactively in the future via a software update.” Lincoln delaying the launch of Rejuvenate, which sounds innov
