BMW recalls K1600 due to suspension failure

BMW Australia has issued a safety recall for the 2018-2020 K1600 on issues that may reduce the backend. According to official notices, a defect in the manufacturer of the pivot strut that connects the rear suspension to the frame may be damaged. It sounds pretty devastating and dangerous to us, but you have to admit, the wording of the recall notice is a bit subtle given the seriousness of the situation. “This can cause the rear of the bike to fall onto the tires, significantly slowing the rear wheels and making the rider unstable,” the notice said. “Severe deceleration and instability can cause a rider to lose control and crash, resulting in serious injury or death.” The owner must contact the BMW Motorrad dealer or the BMW Group Customer Interaction Center to replace the pivot strut for free. Electric vehicles have many implications for the practical aspects of cost of ownership and environmental benefits. But once you get into one, everything changes. Gale’s wears the Driggs Wax Canvas Riding Jacket from the 2022 Harley-Davidson Lowrider ST Woodland Camo. (John Hebert /) Many brands have tried “everyday jackets”, but like people, they don’t have two days on the same day. “Everyday” means at home, at work, on the bike, outside, at the bar, when you go out for dinner with your friends, when it’s hot or cold. And, made by Jane Motorcycle of New York City, Driggs 2.0 improves on the successful 1.0 design with a protective wax canvas jacket that is very suitable for everyday use. Jane Motorcycle is a custom bike shop, apparel brand and espresso joint in Brooklyn near the Williamsburg Bridge. We feel that the brand’s casual wear, protective clothing and bikes all represent a tough, fast-paced city with a focus on style.
