Mugello MotoGP Qualifying Results; Marc Marquez Schedules New Surgery «MotorcycleDaily.com – Motorcycle News, Editorials, Product Reviews, Bike Reviews

The very tricky conditions at Mugello today alternated between wet and dry, with amazing qualifying results for tomorrow’s MotoGP race. Fabio Di Giannan Antonio led the top five on the grid with the Ducati Sweep. Di Gianna Antonio, who won his first podium in MotoGP, stands next to Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini’s Ducati. Championship point leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) is the fastest except Ducati and will be in 6th place (outside the second row) tomorrow.

Marc Marquez had a major crash in the second quarter and then held a press conference to announce that he would undergo a fourth surgery on his right arm at the Mayo Clinic in the United States next Tuesday. Marquez will race tomorrow, but he may miss all the rest of the 2022 series.
