At the time, Racebird was a rendering rather than a real craft, but now electric motorboats are out on the water for initial testing and are working even better than the designers could have imagined. The E1 series is a battery electric racing series with a twist. When Formula E goes out on the road and Extreme E goes off-road, E1 hits the water.
