Mazda Has Not Given Up On Selling EVs In The US Yet

“It’s hard to make money by making small EVs given the high costs of producing automobiles,” said Mazda’s chief executive Masahiro Moro.”We are looking at a segment that will appeal to would-be EV buyers.”

Currently, Mazda hasn’t revealed a bigger electric model than the MX-30, which means we could see one of these new models soon if the Japanese automaker is faithful to the timeline mentioned earlier. The Japan Mobility Show will be a perfect venue for that, side-by-side with the concept that will apparently preview the next MX-5 Miata.

The renowned event, formerly the Tokyo Motor Show, is happening in a few days, so we won’t have to wait too long for confirmation.
