Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Gets Spotted Testing in India; Checkout Expected Design Updates, New Features and More

New Delhi, September 21: South Korean auto major Hyundai seems to be always on its toes to bring in new models in order to retain its second leading position in the highly competitive car market of India. A Hyundai test prototype model has been spotted by the spy shutterbugs in India, which is thought to be the refreshed version of the Hyundai Alcazar SUV.

The Alcazar is the full-sized premium SUV contender from Hyundai in India with loads of oomph factor, and its facelift version is expected to hit the market soon enough. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Expected Changes

The updated new Hyundai Alcazar is said to be coming endowed with a number of cosmetic updates. Going by the set of spy images, the test protype was caught wearing heavy veils up front, as well as its rear faced, which indicates that the SUV model will be receiving quite a few new styling elements and changes for its front fascia and its rear end. The expected cosmetic changes include a newly styled bolder front grille, newly designed LED headlights, new LED tail lights, revamped front and rear bumpers, new alloys and also a refreshed interior with new upholstery.

As per the reports, the Hyundai Creta facelift is also preparing to launch soon. Under the hood, the Alcazar facelift is likely to carry forward the current powertrain that is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine offering 158 BHP of power and 253 Nm of peak torque, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill delivering 114 BHP and 250 Nm. Both engines get a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. While the petrol mill gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option, the oil-burner offers a 6-speed automatic gearbox choice.
