2024 Toyota C-HR Spy Shot
Toyota has been spotted testing a redesigned C-HR prototype.
A new subcompact crossover C-HR Prologue Concept It was announced at a media briefing in Europe last December and is expected to debut later this year.
Our spyshot prototype looks a lot like the concept of the C-HR Prologue, albeit camouflaged. The most noticeable feature is the nose of the vehicle. It features wings on either side held together by headlights, a design Toyota calls the Hammerhead Face.
Toyota has previously confirmed that the new C-HR will offer hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, similar to the Prius.
Toyota C-HR Prologue Concept
It’s not clear what platform underpins this vehicle, but it could be Toyota’s new E3 design, unveiled for 2021. The E3 platform combines elements of Toyota’s TNGA platform for petrol vehicles and the e-TNGA platform for dedicated EVs, with both petrol and electric powertrains.
Adopting the E3 platform therefore means that the new C-HR could also offer an electric powertrain.
The current C-HR is also available in the U.S., but the redesigned model could skip this market as Toyota replaces the nameplate with a production version of an all-electric vehicle. bZ compact SUV concept It will be unveiled at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show. However, Toyota has not acknowledged such a move.
