NIO strengthens strategic cooperation with ceramic ball bearing supplier SKF

Shanghai (Gasgou)- Chinese smart electric vehicle (EV) startup NIO and Swedish ceramic ball bearing provider SKF recently signed an agreement to strengthen their strategic cooperation, according to an SKF press release released on October 27.

Under the agreement, SKF will act as NIO’s preferred supplier of ceramic ball bearings and provide extensive technical expertise to support NIO’s product development and global business expansion.

NIO has delivered a cumulative total of 249,504 vehicles as of September 2022. Deliveries in Q3 2022 reached 31,607 units, an increase of 29.3% year-on-year and a record quarterly record.

As for overseas operations, NIO started deliveries of the ET7 all-electric sedan this year in four European countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.
