Quatlbaum was stunned at how easily such a mistake could be made. In the worst-case scenario, the person who received access to this Model 3 could theoretically live nearby and drive away. In another example, they may have opened his house to all sorts of invaders.

As it stands, Quatorbaum’s Model 3 is at the mercy of strangers For quite some time I could remotely open a window, honk my horn, start a car, open a garage door, view its location, or grant access to someone else. This is not an exhaustive list and puts Quatlbaum and his vehicle at significant risk.
