Earlier this June, Nissan unveiled a facelifted 2023 Altima with an updated design and new technical features. We’ve seen the entire facelifted model this summer, but Nissan has been waiting until now to price its midsize sedan. Prices for the 2023 Altima 2.5 S start at $26,385 (including destination). So that’s a $390 price increase. Depending on the trim, the 2023 Altima will cost up to $3,740 more than before.
For 2023, the SV trim is $190, the SR is $590, and the SL is $1,650 more than before. The 2023 Altima’s powertrain remains the same for the new model year. This sedan is powered by his 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 188 horsepower as standard. His 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, exclusive to the SR VC-Turbo trim, is available. The rating is 248 horsepower.

The increased price makes the Altima SR VC-Turbo one of the more expensive midsize sedans in the segment. The VC-Turbo engine’s technology is unbelievably good, but Nissan’s claim to “produce the performance of some V6 petrol engines while achieving the fuel economy of his four-cylinder,” is what sets it apart from other midsize sedans. Not accurate when comparing performance.
