Motorcycle aftermarket parts survey

Australian riders have been asked to participate in an international survey of aftermarket motorcycle parts quality and prices.

Research, a British company, previously asked MotorbikeWriter to invite readers to participate. Motorcycle Crash Dynamics: A Global Study of 1578 Motorcyclists .

Now she is once again asking Australians to participate in an international investigation.

“We all know that replacement parts can be expensive and not always easy to find. ‘ she says.

The purpose of this study is to identify the cost of repairing motorcycles, especially motorcycle parts sold by motorcycle manufacturers (OEMs), independent departments, used dealers, or salvage yards.

The objective is to understand common parts pricing and how much it costs to repair a motorcycle by dealers, repair shops or independent mechanics in different countries in order to compare the cost of maintaining a motorcycle.

Replacing certain parts due to wear and tear can be expensive for motorcyclists.

What this study seeks to discover is where the cost of a particular part or repair is the most expensive or cheapest to inform riders and hopefully get them a better deal. .

This survey has 12 questions, with extra space at the end of the survey for riders to express their opinions or provide any information they may find useful.

The survey is anonymous and has no mandatory questions.

The study will close on July 31, 2022 and the findings will be published in October 2022.
