Bentley’s first EV pushed the year back to 2026

Bentley will not start Its first electric car By 2026, a year behind the original plan, according to the brand’s CEO.

Interestingly, Hallmark said Bentley is in a unique position that EV batteries are actually cheaper than the engines Bentley uses in cars.

“The average battery is less than our 12-cylinder engine,” he told Automotive News. “I can’t wait for the battery. It’s relatively cheap.”
