New Engines and Chassis for Royal Enfield 2022 Classic 350 «MotorcycleDaily.com – Motorcycle News, Editorials, Product Reviews, Bike Reviews

Since Royal Enfield has existed since 1901, the company has the right to use the word “classic” more than anyone else. The 350 single has been in the Royal Enfield lineup for decades, but in 2022 there will be a 349cc single redesigned with the new Classic 350.

This new air-cooled / oil-cooled 350 features a balance shaft (hurray!) And fuel injection and is already on board another RE model, the Meteor 350. As you can imagine, this displacement single cylinder depends on air. Cooling, output is modest with the claimed 20hp and 19ft / lb torque.

With the 3.4-gallon fuel tank full and ready to ride, the RE says the bike weighs 430 pounds. The new chassis is a twin down tube, steel spine affair, holding a 41mm non-adjustable fork with a back adjustable twin shock absorber for 5.1 inch travel and spring preload. Braking is handled by a two-piston floating front caliper that grips the 300mm disc and a single rear piston with a 270mm disc. ABS is standard.

The size of the wheels and tires fits the “classic” description, with 19 inches front and 18 inches rear, with narrow rubber (front width 100mm, rear 120mm). Models with classic spokes have tube tires, while models with alloy wheels have tubeless tires.

The RE has a simple and attractive machine with beginner-friendly power and seat height (31.7 inches), allowing most riders to rest their feet firmly on the ground. RE has already sponsored a custom builder to modify this model. This includes MS Customs, which designed the cool bike featured in the video below. Suggested retail prices in the US start at $ 4,499 and range from $ 4,699, depending on the model you choose.Look at Royal Enfield Website For more information.
