Biage, Lorenzo and Anderson are selected as MotoGP legends

The MotoGP Hall of Fame rank will grow again, with three new inductions in 2022: Max Biaggi, Jorge Lorenzo and Hugh Anderson.

The induction was originally set to take place before the COVID-19 pandemic, but now Dorna believes it is well suited to carry out that plan. Anderson late in the season (probably on Phillip Island if MotoGP finally decides to stop in Australia).

Nominations are certainly worthy winners, Max Biaggi is a four-time Grand Prix World Champion in the 250cc class, and his name also includes two Superbike World Championships.

Jorge Lorenzo is a five-time world champion who has won three MotoGP races with Yamaha and two 250cc classes with Aprilia.

Hugh Anderson, who participated in the 1960s, won four world titles in his career. Two in the 50cc class and two in the 125cc (two of these titles were in 1963 in the same season). The New Zealander also has two TT race wins in his name.
