Top 4 horror movies to watch this month
Quiet place: Part II (2021)
A Quiet Place: Part II plays like a great first movie, but can still create a fair amount of stomach-twisting tension in complete silence. After an impressive opening flashback sequence, Quiet Place: Part II picks up directly from where its predecessor interrupted. Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and her three children set out to find a new sanctuary because the old home was in jeopardy. Along the way, they team up with Emmet (Cillian Murphy). Emmet (Cillian Murphy) had his family killed during the first alien attack on their town. The following is a series of events and decisions that go against the logic of all Earth, but it seems that we are expecting such things from the horror sequel.

They live in gray (2022)
Horror-centric streaming service Shudder has released two original horror movies that will land this month. This is a supernatural horror movie discovered by a family after a young social worker Claire (Michelle Krusiec) investigated a child abuse case. You are actually terrorized by a malicious entity. Now Claire must use her potential clairvoyant ability to save this child and her family before it’s too late (get it? Her name is Claire!) .. Written and directed by The Vang Brothers (Bedevilled), they promise to be a dark and atmospheric movie with some jump scare.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
It is well known among horror fans that trying to find a chronology of any kind within the numerous entries of the Devil’s Sacrifice franchise is actually a futile act. Next month’s Netflix original movie will be Leatherface Saga’s latest release, a direct sequel to the 1974 original movie (participating in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 in 1986 and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D in 2013). It’s simply called the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This time around, Leatherface is back after nearly 50 years of hiding and terrorizing a new group of kids. The original final girl Sally Hardest (Olwen Huere, taking over the late Marilyn Burns) will also be on board. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, produced by Don’t Breathe and Evil Dead’s remake director Fede Alvarez, has at least some potential to increase the batting average of this hit or miss franchise. For now, I’m hoping that “Oldman Leatherface” will bring a decent horror.
Streaming on Netflix from February 18, 2022
Hellbender (2022)
Next to Shudder is Hellbender, the sixth feature film of The Addams Family (not to be confused with The Addams Family). This is a prolific group of writers, directors and stars in their own films. Hellbender is a 16-year-old girl named Izzy (Zelda Adams) starring her eerie mother (Toby Poser, Zelda and her father, John Adams). Already debuting at many festivals, word of mouth is rising over this terrifying family effort.
