This 17k mile Infiniti Q45 from 2000 comes with a Motorola foldable cell phone

Infiniti hasn’t had a flagship sedan ever since Q70 was frustrated in 2019..

The brand’s journey began with the announcement of Q45 in 1989, so its death marked the end of the era. This leads to this excellent example from 2000, when it has traveled only 17,143 miles (27,589 km) in the last 21 years.

It is coupled by HID headlights, chrome trim, and 16-inch alloy wheels that look a bit bland. The highlights are the sunroof, the “laser-etched DURASTEEL body”, and the auto-powered deployable antenna that screamed the luxury of the time.

Speaking of luxury, the Q45 checks every box as the driver finds a heated leather front seat with eight-way power adjustment. They are combined with an analog clock by a large amount of wood grain trim.

Other notable highlights include the automatic climate control system, power rear sunshade, and 8-speaker Bose audio system with cassette and CD player. Cruise control, HomeLink and Motorola foldable phones have been added. Although this particular model is relatively low-tech, the 2000 Q45 Anniversary Edition comes with an optional navigation system.

Below the hood is a 4.1-liter V8 engine that produces 266 hp (198 kW / 270 PS) and 278 lb-ft (376 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a 4-speed automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels.

The car was originally pasted at $ 49,840 (£ 36,910 / € 44,018), and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation calculator shows that today’s money is about $ 82,067 (£ 60,776 / € 72,475). This is a fair amount of cash, with bids already up to $ 7,000 (£ 5,184 / € 6,181) and 6 days left in the auction.
